I decided to replace an above water dock floater mounted spotlight, which I used to greatly improve dock night fishing, with a modern green submersible fish attracting LED light. My problem was that I was sure that the constant rocking of the dock floater would overtime destroy the bulb wiring unless I mounted the LED light rigidly to the dock floater. This LED light had the right shape to accomplish that. As you can see from the attached pictures, I built an arm assembly to which this LED light is attached to with rubber cushioned brackets. Once attached to the dock floater, the arm assembly was allowed to pivot down into the water and under the dock floater. Two lag bolts were then installed horizontally to lock the arm assembly in the downward position. If required the future, the two lag bolts can be removed to allow the arm assembly to be raised up out of the water so that the LED light bulb can be cleaned. The last picture shows that this LED light is so bright that it illuminates the entire area under the dock floater. This is a great product that the only improvement I can suggest is that I would have preferred to purchase the mounting assembly from the manufacturer instead of having to take time, from fishing, to design and build it myself.
