El DS9092 es una punta de prueba para iButton, provee los contactos eléctricos necesarios para transferir datos desde y hacia los iButton de la familia DS19xx. La forma redonda de la punta de prueba proporciona una interfaz auto alineadora que a línea fácilmente el borde circular del encapsulado MicroCan de los iButton. Los contactos sólidos del metal resisten desgaste y son fáciles de mantener limpios. El DS9092 no tiene ninguna pieza móvil, haciéndole un interfaz utilizable en ambientes hostiles.
