Description Load Cell Systems model TLC1 tension link load cells are manufactured from alloy steel and environmentally sealed to IP67. Extremely accurate design allows this tension link to be used in high precision requirement applications. Typically a shackle is used on each end and a straight line pull is used to lift or add load to the object under test. It is imperative inline loading is maintained for safety and accuracy. If the object being lifted with a crane or hoist can possibly sway, use a tension link load cell that has the loading eyes 90° from each other, this will allow 2 axis of movement preventing major binding and possible mechanical failure of the load cell.
